I learned the basics of Printmaking at UC Santa Cruz, from Lithography, Relief Woodcuts, and Screen Printing. There was this sense of community that I experienced in that studio. People took the time to talk about each other's work. Maybe we just spent too much time there, and needed someone to talk to. I made good friends there, we all learned from each other's mistakes, sometimes from a distance, but it helped as well. When we would put our work up, we felt proud due to the labor it took to manifest our images.
